Abstract:
This research were Quasi-Experimental research consisted of the quantitative and qualitative research. The purposes of this research were to study a development of Perceived Self-Efficacy of Nursing student in Western University in Nursing practice. The sample used in this research were Nursing student in Western University, third year and on going for nursing practice in hospital , being during the months of January-December 2019 and had low scored of Nursing subject (The average score below 60 or C+) 40 persons were purposive sampling and voluntary, and were assigned by matching score into two groups of twenty; experimental group and controlled group. The research tools were Perceived Self-Efficacy test and The Perceived Self-Efficacy program. The experimental group received 4 weeks continuous while the controlled group did not. The data collection was divided into two phrases; pre-test and post-test.
The research result shown that the Perceived Self-Efficacy scores of the of third year Nursing student in Western University who received The Perceived Self-Efficacy program was higher than the control group in post-test and follow up period at .05 significance level. Moreover, the Perceived Self-Efficacy scores of third year Nursing student in Western University who received The Perceived Self-Efficacy program in post-trial period was higher than the pre-trial period at .05 significant level.
