การศึกษานี้เป็นวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาวะทางเพศของกลุ่มทดลองก่อนและหลังการเข้ากิจกรรมการให้สุขศึกษาโดยการส่งเสริมความสามารถตนเองและทักษะชีวิตในการดูแลสุขภาวะทางเพศ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นิสิตพยาบาล ชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ บุรีรัมย์ มหาวิทยาลัยเวสเทิร์น ปีการศึกษา 2563 จำนวน 33 คน ได้รับสุขศึกษาโดยการส่งเสริมความสามารถตนเองและทักษะชีวิต เป็นจำนวน 2 วัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างทำแบบทดสอบจำนวน 35 ข้อ 7 ด้าน ด้านละ 5 ข้อ ทั้งก่อนและหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบทดสอบที่มีค่าความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาเท่ากับ .82 และค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .83 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย dependent t-test
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า คะแนนเฉลี่ยของความรู้และทักษะในการดูแลสุขภาวะทางเพศ หลังเข้ากิจกรรมการให้สุขศึกษาเพิ่มสูงขึ้น มากกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.001) การศึกษานี้แสดงให้เห็นว่า การสอนสุขศึกษาโดยการส่งเสริมความสามารถตนเองและทักษะชีวิต สามารถช่วยให้นิสิตพยาบาลได้เพิ่มพูนความรู้และทักษะในการดูสุขภาวะทางเพศของตนเอง ซึ่งมีส่วนสำคัญในการเตรียมนิสิตให้สามารถเผชิญกับความท้าทายในอนาคตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหาทางเพศได้
The quasi-experimental study aimed to compare knowledge of the experimental group between pre and post participating a health education program by promoting the self-efficacy and life skills on knowledge in a sexual healthcare. The experimental group was 33 first year students of Faculty of Nursing, Buriram Campus, Western University. The two-day program underline the promotion of their self-efficacy and life skills. Before and after the program participation, participants were asked to answer the questionnaire composed of composed of 35 times divided into seven groups and five items in each group. The content validity index of the test used to collect the data in this research was .82 while the reliability was .83. T-test was used to analyze the data.
The result of the experiment revealed that the average scores of knowledge and life skills in sexual health care after program was significantly higher than those before attending the program (p<.001). It was concluded that health education by promoting the self-efficacy and life skills could help these nursing students enhance their knowledge and life skills for sexual healthcare. This, therefore, could play an important role to prepare them for the challenges dealt with sexual problems in the future.
