ผลของการใช้สื่อจริงเพื่อเพิ่มพูนความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของแผนการสอนโดยใช้สื่อจริงเพื่อเพิ่มพูนความสามารถในการพูดของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ก่อนและหลังการเรียนโดยใช้สื่อจริง และ 3) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองต่อการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ ก่อนและหลังการเรียนรู้โดยใช้สื่อจริง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 36 คน ซึ่งเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษพื้นฐาน (อ32102) ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 โรงเรียน สตึก อำเภอสตึก จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วย แผนการสอนจำนวน 4 แผน แบบวัดความสามารถในการพูด จำนวน 2 หัวข้อ และแบบสอบถามความสามารถในการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ใช้การหาร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ Dependent Samples t-testผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1. ประสิทธิภาพของแผนการสอนโดยใช้สื่อจริง มีค่าเท่ากับ76.58/78.94 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ที่ 75/75 2. ความสามารถในการพูดของนักเรียนโดยใช้สื่อจริง มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3. การรับรู้ความสามารถของตัวเองของนักเรียน ต่อการพูดภาษาอังกฤษหลังเรียนโดยใช้สื่อจริง สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนโดยภาพรวมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

The main purposes of this study were 1) to investigate the efficiency of authentic materials lessons on enhancing speaking ability of grade 11 students to meet the criterion set at 75/75; 2) to compare theirspeaking ability before and after being taught through authentic materials; and 3) to compare their self-efficacy towards English speaking ability before and after being taught through authentic materials. The samples were 36 grade 11 students who enrolled the Fundamental English Course (E32102) in the second semester of the academic year 2019 at Satuek School, Satuek District, Buriram Province. They were selected by using simple random sampling technique. The research instruments were4 authentic materials lesson plans, 2-item-speaking performance test, and self-efficacy questionnaire.The obtained data were analyzed by usingpercentage, mean, standard deviation, and dependent samples t-test.The findings revealed as follows: 1. The efficiency of lesson plans by using authentic materials was 76.58/78.94, which was higher than the criterion set at 75/75. 2. The speaking ability of students’ post-test mean score was higher than pre-test mean score with statistically significant difference at .01 level. 3. The students’ self-efficacy towards English speaking after learning through authentic materials in overall was higher than before learning with statistically significant difference at .01 level.
