วิถีชีวิตและการใช้เวลาว่างของเยาวชนในพื้นที่ชุมชนแออัด: กรณีศึกษาชุมชนพหลโยธิน 32 แขวงจันทร์เกษม เขตจตุจักร กรุงเทพมหานคร

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเข้าใจวิถีชีวิตและการใช้เวลาว่างของเยาวชนในพื้นที่ชุมชนแออัด และเพื่อสังเคราะห์แนวทางการจัดกิจกรรมบริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชนที่เหมาะสมกับศักยภาพ และความต้องการของเยาวชนในพื้นที่ ดำเนินการตามระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีการเก็บข้อมูล 3 ระยะ คือ การสำรวจข้อมูลพื้นฐาน การสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกรายบุคคล และการสนทนากลุ่ม น าเสนอข้อมูลแบบชาติพันธุ์วรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เยาวชนในชุมชนพหลโยธิน 32 มีความเป็นอยู่ ความสนใจ และความถนัดหลากหลาย ทำให้มีวิถีชีวิตและการใช้เวลาว่างที่แตกต่างกัน โดยสามารถแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ (1) เยาวชนที่อยู่ในระบบการศึกษา เป็นกลุ่มที่มีความต้องการในการพัฒนาตนเอง ให้ความร่วมมือกับกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยได้เป็นอย่างดี และมีศักยภาพในการเป็นผู้นำชุมชนต่อไป และ (2) เยาวชนที่ออกจากระบบการศึกษาไปแล้ว มีพฤติกรรมไม่สนใจใยดีทั้งตัวเองและสังคม กำลังเข้าสู่เส้นทางของการติดยาเสพติด หรือท้องก่อนวัยอันควร เป็นกลุ่มเสี่ยงที่ต้องได้รับการช่วยเหลือจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างเร่งด่วน "

The purposes of this research were to study and to understand lifestyle and leisure time of the youths in a slum and to synthesize guidelines for organizing academic service activities that were appropriate for the potential and the needs of the youths in the slum. The study was conducted according to qualitative research methodology. The data collection consisted of three phases; a baseline survey, an in-depth interview, and a focus group discussion. The data were presented based on Ethnography. The findings indicated that the youths in the Phahonyothin 32 community had a variety of aptitudes, interests, and livelihoods. These led to different lifestyles and leisure time activities. The youths were classified into two groups; (1) the youths enrolling in the education system, intending to improve themselves, taking part in the university activities as well and having potential to be leaders of the community in the future, (2) the youths leaving the education system, ignoring both themselves and society, getting involved in drug addiction or adolescent pregnancy, and being a risk group that must be urgently assisted by the involved agencies.
