การใช้การสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ในการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษในหน่วยการเรียนรู้เรื่อง Let s Learn English สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ1)เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่6โดยใช้การสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ให้มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนร้อยละ 60 ขึ้นไปกลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่6โรงเรียนบ้านตอกแป้นอําเภอเมืองจังหวัดขอนแก่นที่กําลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2561 จํานวน 6 คนเป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (ActionResearch) ใช้ 3 วงจรปฏิบัติการ (วงจรที่ 1 แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 1-2, วงจรที่ 2 แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 3-4 และวงจรที่ 3 แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ 5-6) เครื่องมือที่ใช้การในวิจัย คือ1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษจํานวน 6แผน 2)เครื่องมือที่สะท้อนผลการปฏิบัติได้แก่แบบทดสอบย่อยท้ายวงจร ใบความรู้และใบงานแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการสอนของครู แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการเรียนของนักเรียน แบบบันทึกหลังสอนและ 3)เครื่องมือสรุปผลการจัดการเรียนรู้คือแบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษแบ่งเป็น 2 ตอนๆที่ 1เป็นแบบทดสอบปรนัย 4 ตัวเลือกจํานวน 30 ข้อมีค่าความยากง่ายอยู่ระหว่าง 0.43–0.85 ค่าอํานาจจําแนกตั้งแต่ 0.01-0.71และมีค่าเชื่อมั่นของแบบทดสอบ 0.70 และตอนที่ 2 เป็นแบบทดสอบอัตนัยจํานวน 10 ข้อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพโดยใช้ค่าสถิติพื้นฐานคือค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและสรุปโดยใช้การบรรยายเชิงพรรณนาความ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1)ด้านทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 72.28 จากร้อยละ 83.33 และด้านผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75.00 จากร้อยละ 83.33 ข้อสังเกตจากการวิจัยมีว่าเมื่อครูกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนมีความตระหนักในโฟนิกส์ (ความสามารถในการได้ยินและการออกเสียง) จะช่วยให้เกิดความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างเสียงที่ได้ยินและวิธีที่จะเขียนโดยผสมเสียงออกมาเป็นคํา

The objective of this research was to develop English reading and writing skills for Grade 6 students by using phonics techniques in order to reach the criteria of ≥ 60 % of students’ learning achievement and score ≥ 75 % of the test result. The target group was six students at Togpan School in Mueang KhonKaen District, KhonKaen Province under KhonKaen Primary Education Service Area 1, during the first semester of the academic year 2018. This paper was an action research with three cycles. (cycle one was lesson plan 1 and 2, cycle two was lesson plan 3 and 4 and cycle three was lesson plan 5 and 6). The instruments consisted of 1) six lesson plans, 2) tools reflecting the result of worksheets such as quizzes at the end of each cycle, exercises, teaching observation form, students learning observation form, and teaching records, and 3) a learning achievement test which consisted of two parts: part 1 comprised 30 items with four multiple choices with the difficulty level ranged from 0.43 – 0.85, the discrimination level ranged from 0.01 – 0.71 and reliability of 0.70; and part 2 comprised 10 items of subjective questions. Both quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed by using basic statistics: mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The conclusion was presented in the form of description.The research finding was that in terms of reading and writing, the students passed the criterion of 72.78 % and for the learning achievement, the students passed the criterion of 75.00 % out of 83.33 %. It is important to note that when the teacher encouraged the students to realize phonemic sounds (the ability to hear and pronounce sounds), it helped them to relate the sounds heard and how to put them into words.
