คุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมของโหราศาสตร์ชาติพันธุ์ในแอ่งสกลนคร

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมของโหราศาสตร์ชาติพันธุ์ในแอ่งสกลนคร โดย กำหนดเก็บข้อมูลจาก 8 กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในแอ่งสกลนคร คือ ไทยย้อ ผู้ไทย ไทยแสก ไทยลาว ไทยโย้ย ไทยพวน กะเลิง และโซ่ โดยเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามทั้งที่เป็นมุขปาฐะและลายลักษณ์ของผู้บอกข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม ของโหราศาสตร์ที่ปรากฏมี 2 ลักษณะ คือ 1) คุณค่าต่อคน พบว่ามีคุณค่าต่อการดำรงชีพ และการกำหนดช่วงเวลาที่ เหมาะสม คุณค่าเหล่านี้ยังช่วยสร้างระบบแบบแผนและแนวทางปฏิบัติร่วมกันได้อย่างเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกัน 2) คุณค่า ต่อสังคม พบว่า มีคุณค่าต่อการสร้างระบบแบบแผนให้มนุษย์สามารถปฏิบัติกิจกรรมได้พร้อมกันและสร้างแนวปฏิบัติ ที่วางความเชื่อถือร่วมกัน ผลการวิเคราะห์นี้สะท้อนความสำคัญที่ปรากฏในตำราโหราศาสตร์ที่ช่วยให้สังคมมนุษย์ สามารถดำรงอยู่ได้อย่างปกติสุข

The purpose of this research was to study a cultural value of Ethnics’ astrology in Sakon Nakhon basin. The data was collected from 8 ethnics in Sakon Nakhon basin in Thai Yo, Phu Thai, Thai Saek, Thai Laos, Thai Yoi, Thai Puan, kaloeng and So. Field data was collected in both verbal and written form of the informants. The research conveyed that there were two characteristics of cultured value of astrology: 1) Values for people which showed that a cultural value of Ethnic astrology had value for the livings and determination of time appropriateness. This value also helped building conventional system and common practice among people. 2) Value for society in which cultural value of Ethnics’ astrology was found to be valuable for building conventional system for human to do activities and also generate common belief. The result of this analysis reflected importance that existed in astrological texts that enabled human societies to live peacefully.
