การศึกษาราชาศัพท์ในหนังสือ สาส์นสมเด็จ

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสร้าง และการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ที่ปรากฏ ในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จ และเปรียบเทียบการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จกับการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ ในสมัยอยุธยาและการใช้ราชาศัพท์ในสมัยปัจจุบัน โดยการเก็บข้อมูลราชาศัพท์จากหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จ จำนวน 26 เล่ม รวบรวมราชาศัพท์ทั้งหมดได้ 1,962 คำ แล้วนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อหาข้อสรุปผลการศึกษา พบว่าด้านการสร้างคำราชาศัพท์ที่ปรากฏในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จ พบวิธีการสร้างคำราชาศัพท์ 4 วิธี ได้แก่ 1) สร้างโดยการประสมคำระหว่างคำยืมกับคำไทย 2) สร้างโดยการประสมคำระหว่างคำไทยกับคำไทย 3) สร้างโดยการประสมคำระหว่างคำไทยกับคำยืม และ 4) สร้างจากการยืมคำภาษาอื่นทั้งคำ ด้านการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ที่ปรากฏในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จ พบการใช้ราชาศัพท์จำแนกตามหน้าที่ของคำ ได้ 4 ชนิด ได้แก่ นามราชาศัพท์ สรรพนามราชาศัพท์ กริยาราชาศัพท์และลักษณนามราชาศพั ท์ ดงั นี้ การใชน้ ามราชาศพั ท์ในหนังสอื สาส์นสมเด็จ พบว่า มีการใช้แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ลักษณะได้แก่ 1)นามราชาศัพท์ที่เป็นราชาศัพท์ในตัว 2) นามราชาศัพท์ที่ต้องใช้คำอื่นมาประกอบ 3) นามราชาศัพท์ที่เป็นชื่อเฉพาะบุคคล การใช้สรรพนามราชาศัพท์ แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ 1) สรรพนามบุรุษที่ 1 2)สรรพนามบุรุษที่ 2 และ 3) สรรพนามบุรุษที่ 3 การใช้กริยาราชาศัพท์ พบว่า มี 8 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ 1) กริยาราชาศัพท์ที่เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ในตัว 2) การใช้คำว่า ทรง นำหน้าคำกริยาธรรมดาและนามราชาศัพท์เพื่อทำให้เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ 3) การใช้คำว่า เสด็จ นำหน้าคำกริยาธรรมดา และนำหน้าราชาศัพท์ เพื่อทำให้ เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ 4) การใช้คำว่า ตรัส นำหน้าคำกริยาธรรมดาและนำหน้าราชาศัพท์เพื่อทำให้เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ 5) การใช้คำว่า กราบทูล ทูล นำหน้าคำกริยาธรรมดาและนำหน้าราชาศัพท์เพื่อทำให้เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ 6) การใช้คำว่า โปรด นำหน้าคำกริยาธรรมดาและนำหน้าราชาศัพท์ เพื่อทำให้เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ 7) การใช้คำว่า รับ ได้รับ นำหน้าราชาศัพท์ เพื่อทำให้เป็นกริยาราชาศัพท์ และ 8) การใช้กริยาราชาศัพท์แยกตามชั้นบุคคล การใช้ลักษณนามราชาศัพท์ พบว่า มีการใช้ แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ลักษณะ คือ 1) การใช้ลักษณนามหลังคำบอก จำนวนนับ และ 2) การใช้ลักษณนามหน้าคำบอกจำนวนนับด้านการเปรียบเทียบการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จกับการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในสมัยอยุธยา พบว่า มีการใช้ราชาศัพท์ที่เหมือนกันจำนวน 301 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 15.35 และแตกต่างกัน จำนวน 1,662 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 84.65 การใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จกับการใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในสมัยปัจจุบัน พบว่า มีการใช้ราชาศัพท์ที่เหมือนกัน จำนวน 1,385 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.60 และแตกต่างกัน จำนวน 577 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ29.40 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบทั้ง 3 แหล่งข้อมูล คือ การ ใช้คำราชาศัพท์ในหนังสือสาส์นสมเด็จกับในสมัยอยุธยา และในสมัยปัจจุบัน พบว่ามีการใช้ราชาศัพท์ที่เหมือนกันทั้ง 3 แหล่งข้อมูล จำนวน 236 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 12.03 และแตกต่างกัน จำนวน 1,726 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 87.97

This research aimed to study the creation and usage of royal words in the books ‘SANSOMDET’ and compare the usage of royal words in the book ‘SANSOMDET’ with royal words used in the Ayuthaya period and the present period. The data were collected from 26 volumes of the books ‘SANSOMDET’ with the total amount of 1,962 royal words and the data were analyzed to arrive at conclusion. The results showed that the royal words in the books ‘SANSOMDET’ were created in 4 ways i.e.,1) a compound of borrowed words and Thai words, 2) a compound of Thai words, 3) a compound of Thai words and borrowed words, and 4) a compound of pure borrowed words. The usage of royal words was divided into 4 categories by their function i.e., royal nouns, royal pronouns, royal verbs, and royal classifiers. Hence, the usage of royal nouns in the books ‘SANSOMDET’ was divided into 3 categories i.e.,1) royal nouns used as royal nouns, 2) royal nouns which needed other components, and 3) royal nouns used as proper names. Royal pronoun usage was also divided into 3 categories i.e., 1) 1st person pronoun, 2) usage of 2nd person pronoun, and 3) the usage of 3rd person pronoun. Royal verbs usage was used in 8 ways i.e., 1) royal verbs used as royal verbs, 2) royal verbs which were made by using the word “song” in front of normal verbs and royal nouns, 3) royal verbs which were made by using “sadet” in front of normal verbs and royal words, 4) royal verbs which were made by using the word “trat” in front of normal verbs and royal words, 5) royal verbs which were made by using the word “krabtun, tun” in front of normal verbs and royal words, 6) royal verbs which were made by using the word “prot” in front of normal verbs and royal words, 7) royal verbs which were made by using the word “rap, dai rap” in front of normal words, and 8) using verbs corresponding to the hierarchy of the royal family. Royal classifiers were used in 2 ways: 1) using classifiers after counting numbers, and 2) using classifiers before counting numbers. By comparison of the usage of royal words in the books ‘SANSOMDET’ with the usage of royal words in the Ayuthaya period, it was found that there was similarity of 301 words which accounted for 15.35 percent and difference of 1,662 words which accounted for 84.65 percent. By comparison of the usage of royal words in the book ‘SAN SOMDET’ and the usage of royal words in the present, it was found that there was similarity of 1,385 words which accounted for 70.60 percent and difference of 577 words which accounted for 29.40 percent. When comparing the 3 sources, it was found that there was similarity of 236 words which accounted for 12.03 percent and difference of 1,726 words which accounted for 87.97 percent.
