พระปฐมบรมราชโองการของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช กับประโยชน์นิยม: การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษาว่า “พระปฐมบรมราชโองการของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชเป็นประโยชน์นิยมหรือไม่” ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พระปฐมบรมราชโองการ “เราจะครองแผ่น ดินโดยธรรม เพื่อประโยชน์สุขแห่งมหาชนชาวสยาม” คาดว่า “ประโยชน์สุข” นี้ดูเหมือนว่า เป็นลัทธิประโยชน์นิยม แต่ผู้วิจัยมีความเห็นตรงกันข้ามว่า ประโยชน์สุขนี้ไม่ใช่ประโยชน์ในเชิงวัตถุ แต่ เป็นประโยชน์สุขที่เกิดจากการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต ตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง เป็นความสุขบนทางสายกลางที่สมดุลระหว่างสสารและจิต อันเป็นเป้าหมายของธรรมาภิบาลจากพระปฐมบรมราชโองการโดยแท้
