dc.description Abstract Today, in 2016, educating for global citizenship is considered a central concern in many secondary schools’ social studies curricula. But what does the term, global citizen, actually mean, and what are some of its most basic educative challenges? Responses to these questions will be derived from the speaker’s recently published book, Stories of Transformation: Memories of a Global Citizenship Practicum, and examined through audience participation and discussion. en_US
