การประยุกต์เทคโนโลยีภูมิสารสนเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน ในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to create tourist attractions database; and 2) to create web application for promoting tourist attractions in Buriram province. Twenty two tourist attractions were selected and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) was used to create da-tabase and web application to promote tourism. By applying Geo-information technology to collect and manage tourist attractions and facilities information, the web application was created to ef-fectively integrate tourism information. The result of this study was that Buriram tourism database that comes from the needs of tourists was created. The database included 22 tourist attractions description, dimensional pho-tos and video clips and also information about accommodations from 120 restaurants, 93 hotels and 113 petrol stations was also included. Then, web application that meets the needs of tourists was developed. This application can be used via Web Browser in a computer and smartphone. The information in the Web application comprised photos and description of tourist attractions, map webpage of tourist attractions’ and facilities’ location from Google Map that can identify location of the users, radius distance and navigate to the desired location. The satisfaction of 30 tourists who used the web application was at the highest level
