คุณลักษณะบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ตามความคาดหวังของผู้ใช้บัณฑิต ต่อบัณฑิตหลักสูตรสาธารณสุขชุมชนมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความคาดหวังของผู้ใช้บัณฑิต และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบ ความคาดหวังของผู้ใช้บัณฑิตต่างหน่วยงาน ต่อคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของบัณฑิตหลักสูตรสาธารณสุขชุมชน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามซึ่งถูกส่งไปยังหน่วยงานทางด้านสาธารณสุข ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลชุมชน และโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบล และหน่วยงานด้านองค์กรปกครอง ส่วนท้องถิ่น ในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ แบบสอบถามถูกส่งกลับคืน ร้อยละ 68 โดยเป็นผู้ใช้บัณฑิตจากหน่วยงานด้านสาธารณสุข ร้อยละ 88.6 และ ร้อยละ 11.4 จากหน่วยงานองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ ความถี่ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตที่ตอบแบบสอบถามเป็นเพศหญิงและเพศชายในจำนวนที่ใกล้เคียงกัน คือ ร้อยละ 48.5 และ ร้อยละ 51.5 ตามลำดับ ส่วนใหญ่ ร้อยละ 39.5 มีอายุอยู่ระหว่าง 41-50 ปี รองลงมา คือช่วงอายุ 31-40 ปี ร้อยละ 30.5 วุฒิการศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรีหรือเทียบเท่ามากที่สุด (ร้อยละ 74.9) รองลงมาเป็นระดับปริญญาโท (ร้อยละ 17.9) และปริญญาเอกน้อยที่สุด (ร้อยละ 0.6) ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตมีตำแหน่งงานปัจจุบันเป็นผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 55.1 รองลงมา ได้แก่ ตำแหน่งอื่นๆ ร้อยละ 31.7 ตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลชุมชน ร้อยละ 7.2 และสาธารณสุขอำเภอ ร้อยละ 5.4

ระดับความคาดหวังของผู้ใช้บัณฑิตต่อคุณลักษณะบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ในภาพรวมทั้งหมด 11 ด้าน อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( \bar{x}= 4.33, S.D.= 0.48) โดยคุณลักษณะของบัณฑิต ที่ผู้ใช้บัณฑิตมีความคาดหวังสูงที่สุด ในระดับมากที่สุด 3 อันดับแรก คือ ด้านจรรยาบรรณต่อวิชาชีพ ( \bar{x}= 4.73, S.D.= 0.49) ด้านการจัดการสุขภาพในชุมชน ( \bar{x}= 4.48, S.D.= 0.61) และด้านสุขศึกษาและ การส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ( = 4.45, S.D.= 0.54) ตามลำดับ ส่วนด้านที่คาดหวังน้อยที่สุดในผู้ใช้บัณฑิต ทุกกลุ่ม คือ การรักษาพยาบาลเบื้องต้น ( = 3.74, S.D.= 0.93) การวิจัยนี้ ชี้ให้เห็นว่าผู้ใช้บัณฑิต ทุกกลุ่มคาดหวังต่อคุณลักษณะด้านจรรยาบรรณวิชาชีพมากที่สุด อย่างไรก็ตามผู้ใช้บัณฑิตยังให้ความสำคัญกับทักษะและความสามารถด้านต่างๆ ในงานสาธารณสุขที่พึงมีในฐานะของนักวิชาการสาธารณสุข โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ การควบคุมป้องกันโรค การรักษาพยาบาลเบื้องต้น การคุ้มครองผู้บริโภค และการฟื้นฟูสภาพ ตามลำดับ ข้อมูลเหล่านี้จะเป็นแนวทางในปรับปรุงกระบวนการจัดการเรียนการสอน รวมทั้งกิจกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อผลิตบัณฑิตของหลักสูตรให้มีคุณลักษณะสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของผู้ใช้บัณฑิตต่อไป

The aims of this research were to examine the expectations of the employers toward satisfied characteristics of Buriram Rajabhat University graduates program in community health and to compare the expectations between different groups of graduate employers using survey research. The subjects, selected by purposive sampling, were the public health sectors including district hospitals and sub-district health promoting hospitals, and the local governments in Buriram province. Sixty eight percent of completed questionnaires, 88.6% of public health sectors and 11.4% of local governments, were returned for analysis. The results showed that the employers answered the questionnaires were 48.5% and 51.5% for female and male employers, respectively. Majority of the employers were aged between 41-55 years old (39.5%) followed by 31-40 years old (30.5%). Most of these employers earned a bachelor’s or equivalent degree (74.9%) followed by a master’s degree (17.9%) and the least was doctoral degree (0.6%). The position of most employers held was the directors of sub-district health promoting hospitals, next was the others (31.7%), the directors of district hospitals (7.2%), and the least was the public health executive (5.4%). The expectation of all employers on overall 11 characteristics was in highest level ( =4.33, S.D.= 0.48). The most 3 important characteristics required by all groups of employers were the code of professional ethics ( \bar{x}=4.73, S.D.= 0.49), community health management ( \bar{x}=4.48, S.D.= 0.61), and health education and health promotion ( \bar{x}=4.45, S.D.= 0.54), respectively. First aid was the least expectation in all groups ( \bar{x}=3.74, S.D.= 0.93). In conclusion, the most important characteristic required by all groups of employers was code of professional ethics. However, as the public health technical officers, some characteristics such as health promotion, disease control, first aid, consumer protection and rehabilitation, were also still required by the employers. All these data would be considered and used as the guideline for further development of teaching and learning processes and also curriculum improvement.
