Abstract:
The Objectives of this research were 1) to develop a linear structural relationship
model of competencies of education supervisors affecting the effectiveness of basic education
schools, 2) to examine the structural validity affecting the effectiveness of basic education
schools, 3) to study the direct and indirect influences and total influence of competencies of
education supervisors affecting to the effectiveness of basic education. This research was
conducted in two phases as ; Phase I, the data were collected by in-depth interviews from 7
experts (purposive sampling) whom concern with education supervisor development, mastery
academic level and the leader of education supervision. Results of interview were utilized to
determine the framework of a linear structural relationship model. Phase II ,the sampled 460
school administrators and teachers were in primary school of Basic Education Council .The units
of analysis were schools by multi-stage random sampling. The research instrument was
