dc.description.abstract The objectives of investigation were to determine antioxidant activity and total phenolic conpounds of methanolic extracts of Chinese Chives and Winged Beam. Antioxidant activity and total phenolic compounds were determined by DPPH radical scavenging assay and Folin-Ciocalteu method, respectively. The results showed that The IC50 values of DPPH radical scavenging of Chinese Chives and Winged Beam were 3007.83 and 2125.57 µg/mL, respectively. The total phenolic compounds of Chinese Chives and Winged Beam were 32.80 and 18.40 mg GAE/g of extract, respectively. en_US
