Lakoff and Johnson (1980, 2003). Data was collected from all kind of chat rooms in search engine

poverty metaphors and there were 4 word forms of poverty conceptual metaphors found in the study:

Thai people have a negative thinking about the poverty which was the thing that make life unhappy,
the obstacle in life, so poverty had to be dispelled from their life. Besides the results also pointed
